The Patent Assignment Information CD-ROM contains information from U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Patent assignment database. The database includes bibliographic text from assignment deeds recorded at the U.S.P.T.O. from August 1980 to the present. The entire assignment record for patents may be searched, including assignments recorded before and after the patent issued.
CASSIS/ASIGN can be used to
- find patents assigned to companies
- search for assignment records of a patent by patent number
- search for assignment records of patents by words in the patent title
- search for assignment records by assignor and/or assignee name.
